On the Feast of the Holy Family we had the singular joy of witnessing a Baptism and Holy Communion in our chapel which may have been a first since it’s opening.
Saeko was welcomed to our Home about a year ago and through her neighbor was drawn to attend Mass almost daily. She slowly recognized the ‘sacredness’ of the Mass and asked for instructions. Sister Kathleen, a teacher for over 50 years was happy to take on the responsibility and proudly stood by Saeko joining several of her friends on the day of the Baptism. It was truly an unforgettable moment in the life of our Home.
