As patron and provider of the Little Sisters, St. Joseph holds a special place in the hearts of every Little Sister. St. Jeanne Jugan turned to him incessantly for all her spiritual and temporal needs.
So each year in honor of St. Joseph the Little Sisters have a special Mass honoring our patron. Thanks to the generosity of our friends and benefactors in “little Italy” we are able to have a beautiful St. Joseph’s Day table over flowing with a variety of pastries, cookies etc. The most outstanding pastry is the St. Joseph Zeppole made only on the feast of St. Joseph.
Residents, families, volunteers and staff joined us in the blessing of the St. Joseph table, followed by a brief description of the history of this feast. Afterwards everyone was served delicious Italian pastry!
